Roundabout
Directed by Carey Lin, Gabriel Gilder
‘Roundabout’ presents a meandering walk through a San Francisco neighborhood that showcases architectural fragments, landscaping, sidewalk repairs, power lines, and moving shadows that look like eyelashes or Lisa Simpson. The intentionally limited viewpoint of only looking up or down puts the focus on the everyday minutiae encountered along the way.
